Metal Eden Controls

Metal Eden uses a fast controller layout built around movement, shooting, Jet Pack traversal, Gravity Hand, grenades, and Ball Mode. You mainly move with the left stick, aim with the right stick, fire with R2 / RT, use Gravity Hand with L1 / LB, and switch into Ball Mode with L3 / LS.

Additional Notes

Metal Eden is a movement-heavy sci-fi shooter, so the controls are designed around chaining jumps, dashes, hovering, shooting, melee attacks, grenades, Gravity Hand abilities, and Ball Mode movement without stopping. The screenshots also show that controller bindings can be reset to default from the controller settings menu.

  • X / A works as both jump and Jet Pack when held.
  • Circle / B is used for dash, and holding it can extend into hover movement.
  • R1 / RB swaps weapons, while holding it opens the weapon wheel.
  • L1 / LB activates the Gravity Hand in Android Mode and works as Boost in Ball Mode.
  • L3 / LS switches into Ball Mode, giving access to boost, homing missiles, and lightning attacks.
  • R3 / RS is used for melee attacks.
  • Keyboard and mouse controls can be changed from the Input menu.
