Lords of the Fallen uses a Soulslike action layout built around stamina, blocking, dodging, lock-on, weapon switching, ranged tools, magic, and the Umbral Lamp. The main buttons stay consistent, but controls change slightly depending on whether you are using melee, ranged attacks, spells, or the Umbral Lamp.

Additional Notes
The Umbral Lamp is central to exploration and combat. It can reveal hidden paths, pull enemy souls with Soulflay, siphon resources, expose Umbral parasites, and help you move between Axiom and Umbral. Lords of the Fallen also supports rebinding, so your layout may differ if you changed controls in the settings menu.
L2 / LT changes function depending on whether you are using ranged weapons, magic, or the Umbral Lamp.
R1 / RB is your light attack in melee, shoot button in ranged mode, and siphon button with the lamp.
R2 / RT is your heavy attack in melee and Soulflay button with the lamp.
Circle / B is used for dodging across all modes.
Lock-on is important for one-on-one fights, but free camera control is often better against groups.
